Position Summary:
The EDI Integrations Developer is responsible for overseeing the setup and maintenance of EDI relationships with any EDI partner (customers, terminals, motor carriers and US/Canada Customs) in Americas. This position will provide an advanced level of support for resolution of daily production EDI and EDI related issues, responding to email requests, system alerts, and phone calls in a timely manner will be essential. This position will require communication and collaboration with most departments in all companies in the US and Canada (CMA CGM, APL, ANL, CEVA Logistics), external vendors, customers, customs authorities, and with head office and CMA Systems EDI/IT teams in Marseille, Dubai, and India for defining EDI requirements and assisting in the documentation, development, testing, and implementation

This position will be responsible to :
Identify areas for improvement, design and develop specifications for enhancements and extensions with the EDI application interfaces and maps.
Collaborate with the HO Project Teams in the analysis of EDI information systems problems and the timely development, implementation and documentation of solutions to those problems.
Train and assist staff responsible for developing, modifying, and testing EDI maps and application interfaces.
Liaise with EDI Developer to ensure information is captured correctly.
Analyze, develop, implement and maintain an EDI strategy that supports the organizational initiatives.
Provide cross training with internal business teams relating to EDI processes and sending procedures.
Act as a liaison between EDI teams and business departments to identify processes or solutions to empower users with self-diagnostic capabilities.
Provide cross training with internal teams as necessary on EDI processes and procedures, EDI new hire/end user training
Provide daily support on production EDI issues
Miscellaneous related duties or projects as assigned.

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Requirements:
Vocational or Technical Diploma Or Associates Degree Required. Bachelor’s Degree in IT is preferred
Minimum 2 years of EDI experience is required.
Programming experience
FTP, SFTP, AS2 Networks
Computer programming, UNIX command line, ITX EDI mapping software, XML, query tools, RDBMS
Oracle Database Structure
Oracle Database Query using SQL
Understanding of Systems Development Cycles

Ability to speak and write articulately with all levels of management and internal and external customers
Logical in-sequence thinking is necessary for issue resolution
Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure in emergency situations

Skill Sets / Education & Experience Preferred:
Associates Degree Required. Bachelor’s degree in IT is preferred.
Container shipping and Logistics experience is preferred.
Project Management experience a plus
