Early Head Start Infant/Toddler Teacher Job at Lebanon Valley Family YMCA
The Edward and Jeanne Arnold Early Learning Center of the Lebanon YMCA is looking for an Early Head Start Teacher. This position provides age-appropriate educational instruction to infants and toddlers in Early Head Start. Teachers are responsible for the creation and implementation of weekly lesson plans and daily communication with parents. Teachers are also required to provide 2 x annual home visits and 2 x annual parent teacher conferences.
Minimum Requirements:
Those teaching EHS children must have one of the following credentials:
- Current Infant Toddler CDA
- An Associate's, Bachelor's or Master's degree with a minimum of 9 credits with a focus on infant toddler development (Transcripts are reviewed by Infant Toddler Program Specialist for approval)
- Be enrolled in an Infant Toddler CDA program and complete that program within one year.
In addition to the above:
- Must have at least two years' experience in a classroom setting with infants and toddlers
- Daily access to reliable transportation
- Successful completion of pre-employment process, including Physical, Criminal History, Child Abuse, NSOR and FBI clearances
This position starts at $15.00/hour – actual rate of pay depends on education and experience.
