The Role Responsibilities

Job Summary

To provide support services to the Head of Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero and the wider team.

Responsibilities

General support

  • Provide timely and comprehensive support to the Head of Sustainability Strategy and Net Zero, including diary management and general administrative duties.
  • For all team pillars (Net Zero PMO, Carbon Methodology and Crediting, Policy and Shareholder Engagement and Coalition Engagement & Reporting), assist in the preparation of correspondence, presentations and reports.
  • Manage and coordinate team diaries including arranging internal/external meetings and booking meeting rooms.
  • Work with Group Sustainability/Net Zero colleagues to ensure efficient management of the team (e.g., in relation to supplies/services) and efficient liaison with other departments.

Records management

  • Draft agendas and meeting minutes and ensure timely dissemination to colleagues.
  • Organise and maintain team files and contact databases in line with Group governance policies.

Cost management

  • Prepare and submit expense claims reports for approval and/or reimbursement.
  • Submit invoices for payment in ePro.

Travel support

  • Arrange all travel and accommodation (international/domestic) with Group-approved travel agencies.
  • Create daily itineraries for trips and schedule internal/external meetings.

Technology support

  • Create IT tickets for team members and liaise with Tech Procurement teams to quickly resolve technology systems/device challenges.
  • Submit mobile travel form to Technology Procurement team prior to international travel.
  • Work with the Onboarding Specialist to ensure all technology (computer/phone/etc) have been ordered for new joiners and are quickly operational.

  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
  • Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proven administrative experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and confidentiality

The salary range for this role is $80,655 to $138,266.
