A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN ECOMMERCE/BOUTIQUE STORE TEAM MEMBER
This multi-faceted role will be split between two locations, eCommerce and the Akron Blue Boutique store. Reliable transportation is required since travel will be between both locations. Team member will presort contributions to ensure qualifying items remain to be listed, sending items worthy for blue to the boutique store and sending non-qualifying items back to the retail stores. At the boutique location, the employee will ring sales transactions, process incoming boutique store items, ensure good sales floor presentation and provide excellent customer service.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ECOMMERCE/BOUTIQUE STORE TEAM MEMBER
- Ability to identify periods, materials, and quality as well as name brands and trends.
- Preferably 1 year experience or more selling or working with textiles and/or accessories.
- Proficient photography skills as well as photo editing.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to perform data entry.
- Must be detail-oriented with preference for experience with merchandising, display and mannequin dressing.
- Able to operate cash register, perform stock duties and provide customer service.
