Reporting to the Director of Marketplaces, the Ecommerce Marketplace Associate will be an integral part of our marketplaces team, helping develop and execute strategies to scale our brand in our fastest-growing channel. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives solving complex problems, is a self-started, and is excited by the opportunity to leverage Chewy & Amazon for brand building. The ideal candidate will have experience working across all aspects of a Chewy and Amazon (1P) marketplace. The Ecommerce Marketplace Associate will work closely with the VP of Chewy and Director of Amazon to assist the execution of marketplace growth strategies including content optimization & management, promotional campaigns, and case management resolutions. Most importantly, the chosen candidate will be passionate about JustFoodForDog’s mission and culture, expressing the ability to lead without authority and determination to solve problems with fresh perspective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Operations: Manage day-to-day operations for online Amazon & Chewy across catalog management and product listings, contract and term updates, in-stock monitoring and order fulfillment, customer reviews, and chargebacks and dispute resolutions.
- Product Optimization: Building and managing best-in-class Marketplace Product Pages on Amazon & Chewy that drive optimal discoverability, traffic, and conversions
- Content Management: Creating new listings, updating existing product listings, and maintaining product data accuracy in compliance with Amazon & Chewy’s services standards.
- Product Merchandising: Planning and executing merchandising strategies that include content enhancements, promotions and events that accelerate sales
- In-stock Monitoring: Work in lock-step with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality and Regulatory to ensure healthy inventory levels across sales channels
- Business Analytics: Utilizing reporting dashboards and spreadsheets to extract and communicate insights that develop go-forward strategies & market research
- Cross-functional Project Management: Offer a strong collaborative approach with demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with all functional groups (internal and external) to achieve business goals.
Qualifications:
- 2- 4 years experience working with a brand on Amazon/Chewy Marketplaces
- Experience managing or supporting content creation process
- Ability to digest search data, identify relevant keywords and implement SEO across listings
- Possess a thorough understanding of digital retail landscape and key online retailers with a passion for eCommerce; experience with Chewy & Amazon marketplace (Amazon Vendor Central or Seller Central is required).
- Excel at multi-tasking effectively in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment; manage timelines with a high attention to detail and desire for accuracy.
- Strong project management skills
- Highly effective written and verbal communicator with both internal and external stakeholders
- A self-starter that proactively uncovers value and can act with little guidance
- A scrappy team player willing to roll up your sleeves in a fast, start-up environment
- Grasps concepts easily and is not afraid to ask questions and challenge the status quo
- Passion for putting the customer first
Required Experience
- 2- 4 years working with Chewy or Amazon marketplace (Amazon Seller/Vendor Central) in the areas of catalog management, demonstrating sales growth and brand expansion.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets and experience with 3rd party tools for Amazon Management
- Proficiency with English language and experience with writing product and SEO product content
- Preferred but not required: A college degree in the areas of: Business, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Communications, English, Mathematics, Information Systems, or Computer Science

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
