Effectively supervises all Drop & Count staff; ensuring all functions are carried out in compliance with general operating procedures and internal controls.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Effectively trains all personnel in the proper performance of all job duties ensuring employees thoroughly comprehend drop & count operating procedures, internal controls and Compact requirements.
  • Writes and delivers performance reviews for all Drop & Count staff. Supports the Drop & Count Manager with writing and managing performance improvement plans, as needed.
  • Consistently makes appropriate decisions regarding personnel matters including staff scheduling.
  • Participates in the interview and hiring process.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues and problems that arise during the drop and count processes. Can coordinate effectively with internal departments and/or external vendors to resolve problems, as assigned.
  • Can perform all drop and count procedures at a high level. This includes slot drop & count, table games count, poker chip count, sports book kiosk drop & count, and off-site drop & count procedures for PlayOn, The Lake House, YBR Casino & Sports Book, and Point Place Casino.
  • Maintains professional demeanor at all times.
  • Provides support to the Drop & Count Manager on projects including new operations (i.e. expansion or new line of business), new technology, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma required.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Drop & Count, or other high volume cash transactional experience in a field such as Banking required.
  • Two years of previous supervisory experience in a related field preferred. Must possess leadership qualities.
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be physically able to access and operate all required equipment on the casino floor and in the count room.
  • Must be willing and able to travel. Will be required to work at multiple properties; must be able to travel between several work locations on short notice.
  • Must have average computer skills; knowledge of spreadsheets is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time with frequent bending, stooping and lifting.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.; is able to operate a power cart weighing over 500 lbs.
