ProCam Pilots, LLC is an aerial service company serving various clients nationwide. We offer Drone Operators, Visual Observers, Aerial Photos (RGB +
Thermal), Aerial Video Footage, Autonomous Flights, 2D/3D Modeling, and
2D/3D Mapping.

ProCam Pilots is now looking for certified pilots with previous experience to help deliver our clients high quality aerial services. This job will focus on autonomous solar field RBG mapping and manual video recording near Chesapeake, VA.

Job Details:

• 6 days per week (Mon-Sat)(Off Sundays)
• Flights per day: 1-5
• Contract duration(s): 1-6 months
• Flight duration(s): 100 300 mins per day
• Compensation: $400 day rate
• Travel Pay: $0.58 per mile outside of 35 miles of the home / previous site

Job Requirements:

• Most common DroneDeploy Supported Drones:
• Mavic Series (Requires more batteries and slower speed)
• Phantom 4 series (Requires less batteries and faster speed)
• DroneDeploy Supported Remote Controller
• Any standard smartphone/tablet controllers
• No DJI Smart Controllers or CrystalSky Controllers
• Has experience with mapping missions (DroneDeploy, Litchi, Pix4D, Measure)
• Can become qualified for mapping missions with ProCam Pilots
• Has at least 5 batteries and at least 2 SD cards (32GBs or higher)
• Has a drone battery car charger or ability to charge on the go
• Has PPE equipment: (Reimbursement within reason)
• Hard Hat & Safety Goggles
• Reflective Vest (Orange or Yellow)
• Work Boots (Steel Toe preferred)
• High speed internet connection (www.speedtest.net)
• Download 20+ Mbps (Recommended but not required)
• Upload 12+ Mbps (Critical for uploading missions)
• Reliability and consistency. Missions must be flown and uploaded on time daily.
• Able to attend a four hour long safety course / webinar before contract starts
• Ability to stay on your toes, problem solve on the go and get the mission completed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $150.00 - $350.00 per day

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Bonus pay

All pilots are required to wear a mask while checking in with site manager, but are not required to wear a mask while outdoors operating drone.

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Drone Operators: 1 year (Preferred)
• Drone Mapping / Surveying: 1 year (Preferred)
• VHF Radio: 1 year (Preferred)
