Responsibilities:
- Complete daily vehicle and equipment inspections, informing Logistics Manager of any required maintenance to truck, forklifts, or other related equipment
- Keep equipment clean and in orderly fashion
- Load trucks according to list of materials on sales order
- Organize and secure each load, and will physically help drivers unload materials to customer satisfaction
- Assisting in unloading semi-trucks when necessary
- Communicate with Logistics Manager to ensure all task are complete
- Follow all company policies and procedures
Education/Required Skills:
- Maintain a valid driver’s license
- Regularly lift/carry/move up to 80lbs
- Organizational skills
- Effective communication
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Be professional and eager to assist customers
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
