Job Details

Job Responsibilities:
- Manage accounting and financial functions for Blue & Gold Fleet including the performance of financial analyses and projections.
- Lead, motivate, and develop talent within the property accounting team including, but not limited to, immediate direct reports by coaching, counseling, engaging and evaluating performance
- Oversee the budgeting and year-end audit process and assist with special projects.
- Oversee preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Collaborate with the President and Vice President to provide timely financial reporting and metrics.
- Supervise employees who work under the controller in preparing financial reports and budgets
- Monitor financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs
- Keep up to date on the financial market to understand how to maximize profits and find new expansion areas
- Understand the financials of the company to meet legal requirements and keep the financial state in good standing
Job Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a business financial setting, as well as managing a team
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, business administration, accounting or finance from an accredited university is required.
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and management about the finances of the business and justify certain financial recommendations
- Basic math skills to make accurate calculations and estimates
- Organization and project management
- Strong understanding of tax codes and laws
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills
