Overview:

The candidate must fundamentally enjoy building and motivating a team and would be responsible for all aspects of operation in the assigned region.

As a District Manager in Wash U Carwash, you have the overall responsibility for controlling and optimizing the stores within your assigned region.

The District Manager’s primary role is to serve as a leadership and support resource to General Managers and employees, while balancing the needs and goals of our business. The Leadership role is broad, encompassing responsibility for growth of sales, profits, and employees in the DM’s primary operating area.

The District Manager is expected to continuously have the general overview of their region. Having a general overview includes, ensuring all store structures are in place, and that the General Managers are enforcing these structures.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Must ensure each shop has a great Store Manager.
  • Continuously develop and train Assistant Managers and General Managers to the next level.
  • Fostering a positive, team-oriented environment with a healthy competitive spirit that ensures the sharing of best practices and a commitment to goal achievement.
  • Developing strong cross-functional partnerships that ensure the right support is provided to the stores to improve performance and remove barriers to focusing on the customer, people, and results.
  • Training, Coaching, and Inspiring all locations to deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality operations while ensuring a commitment to Wash U Carwashes operational policies and procedures.
  • Meeting/exceeding annual P&L objectives with a primary focus on top-line sales, productivity, and production management.
  • Driving continuous performance improvement focusing on leading indicators and established key metrics. Candidate will be balanced in their approach focusing on people, financial, and customer experience metrics equally
  • Coach and develop General Managers on: Staffing, Scheduling, Turnover, Employee Satisfaction, Performance Management, Training and Orientation, Communication, Rewards and Recognition and Administration.
  • Hold effective Bi-Weekly meetings with Management team for goal alignment.
  • Educate Management on all appropriate HR policies, labor laws, and safety and security procedures. Ensure compliance at the store level.
In addition to the above duties, the successful candidate must work well independently and in team environments. They must be a critical thinker, problem-solver and be tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn. This role requires strong attention to detail, effective oral and written communication skills, active listening skills, the ability to assess and evaluate business needs and exposure, and the ability to identify critical issues & solutions quickly and accurately.
