Develop and manage VSP’s education & training plans, programs, and activities to achieve business objectives for the VSP Enterprise.
Develop and manage the external and internal education programs and curriculum for specific products, services, and brands, including lens products, lab network services, eyewear, customer channels, and sales new technologies.
Management and knowledge of corporate LMS system, including training execution, platform improvements, and user design, maintaining optimal learning performance across the enterprise.
Develop and execute training programs for emerging vision and diagnostic technologies, such as lens and frame packages, functional lens designs, new frame and lens materials, lens enhancements and coatings, retail strategies, and exclusive ECP programs
Develop and implement comprehensive Education & Training program sales teams that establish VSP Vision as the industry leader.
Identify, develop, facilitate, and manage learning and development activities to support the success of the VSP Global Sales Organization (GSO).
Work collaboratively with other functional leads to be a valued partner and contributor to the VSP GSO objectives.
Be responsible for the education and training of the GSO around the valued and memorable eyecare professional experience for VSP Vision brands, products, and services. This responsibility includes all customer channels, providers, distributors, and patients.
Lead and direct staff to ensure skills and knowledge is continually developed to meet future marketing, customer, and business needs; provide oversight of department activities such as planning, hiring, performance reviews, training needs, education, industry insight, and budgeting.
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience; Minimum of 2 additional years of experience related to functional area
Minimum of 6 years of management experience with responsibilities for hiring, training, assigning work, and managing performance of direct reports
Minimum 2 years of training curriculum development, sales development a plus.
Minimum 2 years of LMS platform technical and program management.
Proven track record in project management skills with high-impact, large-scale projects; demonstrated experience in driving organization change and to influence company leadership
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to regularly exercise discretion and independent judgment the in performance of his/her job duties

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
