Orchard & Vineyard Supply (OVS) is looking for a Director of Supply Chain to join our Supply Chain Execution and Planning team based in McMinnville, OR or Yakima, WA. This role will leverage the cross-functional teams to lead large-scale strategic planning activities for OVS fulfillment network in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment. We are looking for leaders who combine strong planning, operations, and transportation backgrounds with a bias for delivering results through collaboration, thinking big, and creating healthy supplier-distributor relationships. Planning activities will include building annual, quarterly, and monthly operational plans for up to 1 to 1.5 years of planning horizon, including fulfillment center efficiencies, seasonal peak resourcing, retail stocking programs and planning for other events throughout the year. The successful candidate will be able to deliver the most accurate forecasts (inbound and outbound), inventory targets and allocation of demand & supply plans by the fulfillment center/retail location. This position has a heavy hand in pricing negotiations for domestic and international suppliers and demand planning for multiple product lines. The candidate will work with Operations partners to convert the plans into resource and capability requirements. This role is a high visibility role and this person will lead the supply chain strategy and complex plans that are presented to senior leaders and executives, while managing a team of procurement specialists/buyers within the company.

Strong candidates will have a history of leading large-scale capacity and resource planning activities to support building operational budgets for retail, outside sales and eCommerce. They use LEAN methods to reduce waste within the supply chain function including a heavy focus on inventory turn, reducing aged inventory and providing excellent communication on current stock to stakeholders. What You'll Do

· Build and manage the end-to-end planning processes and workflows to drive the capability & resource build and inventory investment decisions for 1 to 1.5 years horizon.

· Build the ramp plans and manage the execution of ramp plans to support resource planning for fulfillment center efficiencies, seasonal planning and other promotional events throughout the year.

· Create and implement inventory, demand, supply allocation strategies to maximize inventory placement, turns, sales, and customer experience.

· Define and continuously improve key end-to-end planning performance indicators from Forecasting and stocking to logistics and customer on-time delivery.

· Performing creative analysis to answer strategic business questions and support planning program development.

· Consistently identify and perform due diligence on new suppliers

· Negotiate supplier cost and identify ordering efficiencies for cost savings

· Maintain updated delivery, cost, supplier and product data in Netsuite to continuously improve data accuracy

· Perform demand planning management duties for planning inventory flow, analyze historical and future projection data and maintain a volatile forecast to meet customer demand and reduce inefficiencies in inventory stock

· Communicating strategic and tactical decisions through formal updates to a wide variety of stakeholders, including executive-level, sales, retail, ecommerce, accounts receivable, logistics and operations teams

· Serve as a liaison to logistics personnel and provide guidance on transport cost savings and identification of product lead time reductions

· The position may require travel (up to 15 %)

What You'll Need

· 5+ years of program management experience in the supply chain and/or buying, procurement and demand planning domains

· 4+ years of S&OP planning and/or Integrated Business planning, with extensive knowledge in transportation, operations management, and planning

· 3+ years with direct reports/management of personnel

· Experience in an e-commerce environment

· Experience in ERP system

· Ability to quickly learn new technologies

· Exceptional written and verbal communication

· Advanced analytical skills and business judgment

· Proficiency in data analysis

· Proficiency in excel; excellent mathematical and formula driven skills

Bonus

· Expert level skill with industry-standard analytical tools

· International business experience—primarily in the function of supplier relations, price negotiation or logistics management

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
