A quick snapshot

The Director, Global Digital Marketing is a core member of the global demand generation leadership team and leads our digital marketing efforts across the globe with a primary focus on growing awareness and demand through scalable online/web marketing and paid media programs. With an amazing team of digital marketers and agency partners, this role is responsible for the strategy, execution, and optimization of all global digital and web marketing programs, including digital advertising, paid search, paid social, SEO (including Conga owned properties and Review sites), email nurturing and web chat.

Driving leads and accounts through the buyer’s journey is the key ingredient to driving demand for Conga solutions to ensure that all Conga revenue generating teams are wildly successful. That makes this role highly visible – partnering hand-in-hand with stakeholders across the entire Revenue organization - with the potential for huge impact on the overall success of the business across the globe!

Are you the person we’re looking for?

Relevant and related experience. You’ve walked the talk for more than 7-10 years in digital marketing and you’ve a proven track record in generating global demand for B2B SaaS solutions through the strategy and execution of digital and web marketing programs. This means you’ve either had direct experience or have successfully led team members with the experience across all the usual paid digital channels: Google Adwords, Google Display Network, LinkedIn Ads, ABM Platforms [6Sense], and content syndication and pay per lead partners, as well as the organic digital channels: email, SEO, owned web site, review sites (G2, Trust Radius), and 3rd party marketplaces (AppExchange, AWS Marketplace). You’ve also got “serious chops” in proactively managing a substantial budget to higher levels of efficiency over time, using data-driven decision-making to make adjustments and optimize results.

A knack for reporting and a good eye for data interpretation. You should be the type of person excited to dig into data and determine what’s working and what’s not, detail the findings, and showcase the results. Being able to explain why and how to better optimize digital efforts for the future is key to collaborating cross-functionally across Conga.

Process and system oriented. As Conga continues to grow, we need to build a demand generation engine that scales. You’ve got an advanced understanding of marketing program management systems, processes and reporting tools that will serve as the marketing team’s foundation to achieve this goal. You’ve got strong experience working with Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms (Marketo), CRM systems (Salesforce), and account-based tools (6sense).

Innovative thinking.
Digital media is constantly changing, along with the rules of how we use data to segment and target. You should have an always-be-testing mindset and continuously and proactively be aligning digital channels to leverage new technologies and strategies to drive engagement, interest and conversions.

ABM-first approach. B2B buying committees are bigger and more complex than ever. Understanding how to influence the entire account, and a knowledge of digital tactics for ABM gives you a huge leg up in this role.

Agency and client-side experience. If you’ve worked at an agency, that’s a huge plus, as you’ve gotten experience across a wide range of companies, industries, go-to-market strategies, etc. It also gives you insight into how as a client you need to manage our agency relationships.

In the spirit of the Conga Way, we strive to design easy-to-understand compensation programs that are fair and free from any type of discrimination, and which enable us to ‘Achieve Together.’ We communicate transparently about the structure of our compensation programs. In keeping with this approach, we’re committed to delivering a competitive compensation and benefits package to all colleagues worldwide. Target compensation is determined by market location for each role.

The following information is provided in accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay Act. The general base salary target for this position in Colorado is $178,164 per year; however, the actual base salary offered may increase (or decrease) depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to base salary, Conganeers receive a variable incentive pay component, perks such as flexible work options, and a full range of benefits including medical and dental insurance.
