Looking for a Direct Support Profession (DSP) who has related experience working with individuals on the Autism Spectrum, to provide Community Habilitation service to a young gentleman who enjoys exploring his community and all it has to offer.
He would like to work with someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, creative, active, and comfortable with setting expectations and boundaries.
He works on the following goals: exploring the community to increase community integration, socialization and communication skills, internet safety, and increasing independent living skills.
His interests include; SU Sports, mini golf, riding his bike, playing basketball, going to the park, going to the YMCA.
Currently he lives with his family in Chittenango.
Reliable transportation is required, use of personal vehicle expected. High School Diploma or GED required.
Background check, fingerprinting and a DMV record check prior to hire by non-profit agency.
Availability and hours are very flexible. The pay rate is $19/hour.
