Easterseals Rehabilitation Center is currently hiring for Full-time and Part-time Direct Support Professionals to work in our Group Homes.
Full time and part time opportunities available in Vanderburgh and Warrick County.
What does a Direct Support Professional do?
Assist clients by providing direct care with feeding, bathing, dressing, changing adult diapers and assisting with mobility. You would also be giving medications to the clients along with other medical procedures and help with the household duties such as laundry, cooking, vacuuming. Additionally, we have fun outings we take the clients to that you would be participating in.
What are the qualifications of a Direct Support Professional / Caregiver?
You must be at least 18 years or older and pass a pre-employment drug screen, TB Test, Lifting Physical (70 lbs.), Reference checks and Background Checks. A High School Diploma or GED would be great but don’t worry, if you don’t have that we have a reading test you can take instead.
