Share and Care Staffing is seeking Direct Support Professional’s (DSP's) in Mississippi.
All shifts available: 7a-3p, 3p-11p & 11p-7a
Full-Time, Part-Time or Per Diem
The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is responsible for providing personal assistance and routine daily care and services related to the residents in accordance with the Resident Care Plan.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Responsibilities:
- Light housekeeping, including organizing, laundry and basic cleaning
- Personal activities such as dressing, grooming, monitoring vitals, medication and assisting with meals
- Accompanying your clients to events such as appointments, grocery shopping trips and other errands
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Qualifications:
- Ability to work under pressure and relate well to residents
- Excellent bedside manner
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must enjoy the senior population
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Physical Requirements:
- Continuous walking, bending and standing
- Must be able to perform work both inside and outside, which requires stooping, bending and lifting of approximately 75 pounds
