Position Description: The Direct Services Distribution Coordinator is responsible for organizing timely, accurate deliveries on behalf of the Direct Services team. Your primary focus will be on the Veterans Programs, Healthcare Partnerships and occasional events that come up, but you will also work with other Direct Services team members as needed. You will work closely with staff in several other areas of the food bank, including Inventory, Transportation, Warehouse and Culinary. You will also be responsible for coordinating with local partners and organizations who are not directly employed by the food bank, acting as an ambassador on behalf of FBEO. Up to 20% of your time could be spent on area travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Work with Direct Services Manager to organize deliveries to Healthcare Pantries and DHS Pantries programs, as well as grant-funded distributions.Work with Veterans Services Coordinator to organize Veterans distributions.
Oversee other deliveries and distributions as needed, ensuring they are on the transportation calendar, pulling and invoicing product, collecting distribution information and entering it into spreadsheets.
Make deliveries to local and area program partners.
Provide backup to other program coordinators and managers.
Assist the Direct Services team in implementing and tracking new programs, community initiatives and grants.
Maintain accurate records and outcomes for Direct Services and produce reports as required.
Complete special projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent work experienceValid Oklahoma driver’s license, insurance, good driving record
Strong leadership ability and communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work on multiple tasks and prioritize
Ability to work independently and as a team player with a diverse group of people
Basic MS Office proficiency, including Word and Excel
