Responsibilities Include:

• Implement Work Transfers in accordance with AS9100 Work Transfer Requirements.
• Provide operational engagement and oversight to ensure the timely and accurate completion of transfers of components and/or parts between or within supplier organizations in a highly regulated industry.
• Support the work transition of new licenses and acquisitions to the business
• Interface and correspond with suppliers
• Demonstrate ability to visit and assess suppliers’ capabilities and capacity both domestic and international. Ability to navigate new cultures with integrity and respect in support of building relationships.
• Ensure accurate reporting of work transfer gated process for the site. Provides monthly status updates on completed, in process and scheduled activities.
• Ensure engagement and management of sourcing changes with cross functional teams by understanding their business needs and how it can be fulfilled from the marketplace as well as providing accountability for their alignment
• Partner with PMO, Purchasing, Engineering, Quality and Operations key stakeholders to develop a robust performance and relationship management program by facilitating supplier interactions with cost / quality improvements.
• Drives the decision-making process & action planning for each activity driving efficiencies and cost reduction / savings opportunities.

Job Requirements:

• Associates degree and a minimum 7 years’ experience in highly regulated industry

or

• Bachelors degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience in highly regulated industry
• Experience in an Aerospace environment
• Demonstrate familiarity with AS9100 Work Transfer requirements
• Demonstrate understanding of supply chain, manufacturing practices, operations/planning/logistics, quality and terms and conditions
• Demonstrate ability to drive product implementation and strategy
• Demonstrate high level of attention to detail and urgency
• Experience in buying and sourcing direct material
• Demonstrate ability to develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and co-workers in a pressured environment
• Proficient with computers and automated process and systems
• Self Starter and team player
• Travel (30%)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
