Direct Care Professional/Home Care Aide Job at Compassionate Home Health Care
Compassionate Home Health Care is currently seeking DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONALS (DSP's), Caregivers, Home Health Aides to work in the home 1 on 1 with adults who require companionship, personal care and homemaker services in the Lawrence, Beaver and Butler County areas.
Hiring all shifts! SIGN-ON BONUS OF UP TO $1200!
All new hires will complete a PAID ON SITE TRAINING PROGRAM that will review all functions of residential day to day care, CPR, Hoyer training, lifting, transferring and daily care.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) e.g. cleaning, cooking, laundry, and personal care hygiene.
- Monitor, document and report any changes in individuals, emotional, physical, and mental health in a timely manner.
- Provide a safe, healthy, and clean environment for the individual and yourself.
- Prior experience working with individuals with challenging behaviors is desired.
- Acts to prevent potential crisis situations and implements behavior support plan.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Ability to pass criminal background check
- CPR Certification preferred, but company will provide training
- Must be willing to work 2 weekends per month
