Supervision: Has assigned duties, station and procedures which are monitored throughout the shift by management.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Dining Room Runner to join our team. As a Dining Room Runner, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operations of the dining area and providing support to the kitchen and front of house staff.

Your primary duties will include:

• Polishing Silverware: Clean and polish silverware to maintain its quality and appearance.
• Polishing Glassware: Clean and polish water glasses to ensure they are spotless and ready for use.
• Stocking Server's Station: Maintain inventory and stock supplies such as tea bags, coffee, coffee filters, coffee mugs, espresso cups, ice, milk products, sugar products, and juices at the server's station.
• Stocking Reach-in Cooler: Restock sandwiches and baked goods in the reach-in cooler located in the server's station, ensuring they are properly arranged and ready for service.
• Stocking Kitchen Supplies: Keep the kitchen well-stocked with essential items such as ramekins, steak knives, and soup spoons, ensuring they are readily available for the kitchen staff.
• Folding Linen: Fold linen, including napkins and tablecloths, to be distributed throughout the restaurant, maintaining a neat and organized appearance.
• Additional Duties: Perform any other tasks within the realm of your job description as requested by a manager.

Qualifications:

• Attention to detail and the ability to maintain cleanliness and organization.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with team members and respond to requests promptly.
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing job demands and schedules.

Non-physical qualifications:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Physical qualifications:

• Ability to move throughout the dining room effectively.
• Ability to lift and carry approximately 30-40 pounds repeatedly.
• Ability to perform reaching and stooping motions.
