JOB SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for managing the Email and SMS program for Peoples. Responsibilities include managing, executing, planning, process, strategy and implementation of the Emails and SMS program, while delivering growth in key email and SMS KPIs and supporting brand strategy and positioning.
We are looking for leadership to build strategy from insights, refine and scale processes for creative/content development, as well as lead vendor partners toward implementation of new technical features to enhance personalization and automation of campaigns.
Finally, this individual must be capable of analyzing campaign results and producing well-written, executive-level presentations that display thoughtful analysis of the programs results and learnings. They will also be expected to lead weekly meetings that involve all stakeholders of the email program to guide campaigns from concept to completed campaign.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Independently ideate and strategize all Email and SMS content via monthly calendars. Includes the support of promotions, creating a branded customer experience through storytelling, managing the design, proofing, and testing process, managing product placement, managing copy, proofreading, and legal language – all within tight deadlines.
- Develop test-and-learn process for improving/evolving email campaigns to maximize engagement and conversion. Champion development of email capabilities leveraging new solutions from platform and third-party tech vendors. Demonstrate technical aptitude for third party providers such as Smarter HQ, Movable Ink, SMS providers, and CRM tools.
- Maintain and adapt governance around coding, quality assurance, list management/hygiene, import/export of data segments by partnering with vendors and internal partners in marketing and IT to target messages accordingly. Understanding (and continued monitoring) of email marketing concepts like: Deliverability, Cross device Compatibility, Modular email design and Email Can-Spam compliance.
- Track and report all KPIs weekly, monthly, quarterly, and daily as needed. Deliver channel reporting for key weekly meetings (e.g. Weekly Trade, SLT Trade Prep). Review weekly and monthly data from both internal and external systems; develop insights to lead future campaigns.
- Perform additional duties and projects as assigned
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Development
