POSITION SUMMARY: Keep Company vehicles and garage area in clean and orderly condition. Perform routine cleaning duties in and around the shop, including but not limited to tools, shop floors, vehicles, etc. Observation of and assisting in all mechanics’ practices.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

•Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming them.

•Gather and empty trash

•Clean tools, furniture and fixtures

•Requisition supplies needed for cleaning duties.

•Clear debris from grounds.

•Clean windows.

•Move furniture, equipment, supplies and files for storage.

•Set up and arrange tables and chairs for special events.

•Remove snow as requested.

•Weekly fueling of misc. equipment.

•Wash vehicles.

•Learn and adhere to all applicable company rules, policies and procedures

•Immediately report any damage to facilities and equipment.

•Use Tools provided correctly and return to their proper place when finished.

•Demonstrate safe work habits.

•Able to understand scope of work and complete with little or no supervision

•All personnel must be reliable, must report for duty on time, and must be available for overtime when required.

•All office personnel must keep management informed.

•All personnel must maintain a good working relationship with customers, vendors, co-workers, and management.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

•Must have High school diploma or equivalent.

•Must possess a valid driver’s license.

COMPUTER/TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Must possess basic level skills in the use of personal computers, Microsoft Office Suite software, email and other enterprise specific programs.

EQUIPMENT USAGE:

Must have the knowledge and experience to effectively use all tools such as pressure washer, wrenches, etc.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Must have ability to read and comprehend instructions, equipment manuals, repair guides, reports and emails.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, percentages and decimals.

REASONING ABILITY:

Must have the ability to analyze and solve problems and independently consider and evaluate a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must have ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
