The Detail Entry Position is responsible for cleaning vehicles as assigned in accordance with dealership standards.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks:
- Responsible for clean cars: wash and vacuum vehicles for delivery. Preparing new car for the lot.
- Checks in for assignments (a) Sold vehicles priority service and (b) Traded vehicles cleaned for resale.
- Keeps track of all services performed on each vehicle (stock #, VIN #, etc., by listing on sheet).
- Responsible for cleanliness of shop in and outside
- Empty trash cans as needed
- Responsible for security of vehicle keys while in possession
- Assisting with sales or service lot tasks
- Moving vehicles on lot
- Snow removal
- Operation of extractor and ozone equipment
- Upkeep on detail equipment, such as vacuum and buffers
