Desktop Support Technician Job at Genuent

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to customer calls, e-mails, voicemails, IM and resolve customer problems.
  • Document and track all issues thoroughly in the ticketing system to make certain that all issues are addressed within appropriate timeframes.
  • Take ownership of all incoming issues and escalate as necessary to ensure that issues are routed properly and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist consumers, partners, and professionals with pre-sales, order management, and technical issues through email and phone support.
  • Troubleshooting issues via the telephone and email, addressing both hardware and software related issues.
  • Multitasking through multiple systems while troubleshooting with customers
  • Basic understanding of Active Directory.
  • Solid working knowledge of the Windows 10 Operating System, including but not limited to Windows XP and 7.

Job Type: Contract

Salary: $16.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay

  • Houston, TX 77042: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Help desk: 1 year (Preferred)
  • iOS: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Windows: 1 year (Preferred)
