Desktop Support Administrator Job at IBM

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Desktop Support Administrator, you will work across many teams and high-level managers in the organization to design, lead, manage, maintain and track assets, deploy, implement, troubleshoot, and support the workforce environment. You will provide on-site support as necessary to ensure all desktop capabilities are available to over 200 users. You be required to implement, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware and software, as well as develop local operating procedures, processes, and policies. You will need to be adept at identifying and monitoring the ongoing operation of the Windows 10 environment. This includes identifying problems and implementing corrective actions as needed. You will finally be required to maintain 100% accountability of Desktop related assets via inventory control and asset management.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- At least 5 years of experience in supporting desktop and laptop hardware as well as Windows 10, Microsoft Office applications, and Server 2016/2019.
- High amount of knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) are required.
- Base level of knowledge for Citrix XenDesktop (RemotePC).

The compensation range for this position is based on a full-time schedule. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.
