Surgical Assistant
Seeking an exceptional team member for our oral surgery practice. We focus on caring and expert communication. Emphasis on personal development through continuing education, participation with other team members, and high achievement. Applicant MUST have previous Dental assisting experience and Medical experience preferred.* MUST be willing to travel to all four office locations Dr. Phillips, Kissimmee, Waterford Lakes and Winter Garden*. The Surgical Assistant must be an extremely competent person who is completely professional and reliable and has:
- Traveling is MUST - All four office locations
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and/or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), preferred.
- IV experience, preferred
- Excellent manual dexterity
- Intermediate computer skills
- The ability to study and learn quickly
- An education and certification appropriate to their position
- A mastery of dental terminology and procedures
- Superior communication and customer service skills
- Familiarity with hand pieces and instruments used in the office
- Knowledge of ergonomic principles relating to dentistry
- Current Basic Life Support and CPR certificates, required
- Current knowledge of OSHA and HIPPA rules and regulations as applicable to the operatory and the office as a whole
- DAANCE certification preferred or must be passed in less than 3 attempts

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
