We have an excellent opportunity for a Demand Planner in our Troy, Ohio manufacturing facility.

In this position, the successful candidate will perform the following job responsibilities:

• Finished goods inventory planning and deployment (plant and DC's).

• Aged and excess inventory management (plant and DC's) to include supporting documentation and compiling scrap forms.

• Control DC/plant stock levels in appropriate quantities, in order to minimize investment affecting storage cost, handling and obsolescence while utilizing acceptable techniques including ABC analysis, economical order quantities, and other principles of inventory control.

• Root cause and ensure set ups and planning tools are correct and efficient for replenishment planning.

• Work with production to schedule plant requirements to fulfill stock and special requirements in the most efficient way.

• Evaluate forecasts and net demand to determine production requirements and scheduling deadlines.

• Advise management of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential capacity/manufacturing constraints.

• Problem solve issues within the planning system.

• Crosstrain/backfill for THD inventory requirements.

• Work as part of a collaborative project team engaged in process and effiiency improvement projects.

• Hours 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

• A Bachelor's degree is required or equivalent combination of education and experience.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

• Experience planning, scheduling, inventory, and production/materials scheduling is preferred.

• Advanced experience with Microsoft office, including Excel and Word required.

• Advanced data communication and presentation skills experience with Microsoft office, including Excel and Word required.

• Basic math skills and strong organizational skills are required.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
