• Drive straight delivery trucks, vans, to deliver product to retail accounts
• Performing pre-and post-trip insepction of truck
• Ensuring all delivery equipment is on the truck
• Greeting the customer and receiving any special instructions for delivery
• Checking for empties, returns or breakage to be picked up
• Ensuring all floor displays, back stock, shelves, and coolers are full and rotated
• Ensuring all out-of-date product and empties have been picked up
• Issuing proper credit to customer
• Ensuring all pick-up sheets are filled out completely and correctly
• Ensuring all trash from delivery is disposed properly
• Confirmation with customer that all product has been delivered and credits due are entered on invoices
• Notifying administration, salesman, and supervisor of any errors or changes made to invoices
• Generating invoices and collecting payment from customers
• Refueling straight-truck or van
• Delivering PDA and all pick-up sheets to back door manager
• Confirming check-in count with manager
• Parking straight-truck or van as directed
• Removing and cleaning trash from cab and cargo area
• Delivering all invoices, pick sheets, route sheets, checks, cash, and end-of-day reports to cash office
• Driving straight truck or van in a safe manner
• Accepting and delivering any route assigned in a safe and timely fashion
• Look for innovation and continuous improvement in the Delivery Department and in the company overall
• Cleaning the truck or van interior
• Maintain product freshness and presentation through product rotation and equipment cleanliness and appearance
• Ensure assigned Company vehicle is maintained to Anheuser-Busch standards to include truck cleanliness, clean interior, etc.
• All other tasks as assigned
