Delivery Driver - Manufacturing/ Glass Job at Thermal Seal Insulating Glass
Thermal Seal Insulating Glass is a busy glass manufacturing plant that specializes in residential glass, and services glass shops all over New England. We seek to consistently advance and better our practices, and are currently looking for a driven and reliable individual to join our ranks as a delivery driver.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering glass units to customers along pre-established routes, tracking deliveries, unloading product at customer locations, ensuring deliveries are checked and signed for, and reporting any damages, discrepancies, or issues to management. Occasional pick-up of templates, materials, or product from location. Driver is also responsible for checking his assigned truck and working with shipping to ensure glass is properly tied down and secured.
CDL license NOT required
Experience driving box, glass, or stake trucks is preferred, but not required. We will train you.
A copy of driving record (obtained from RMV or your insurance) is required for consideration.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
Must be able to sit (driving), stand, move, and twist for extended periods of time.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
