Job Title - Data Architect

Roles & Responsibilities :

AWS experience is mandatory

• Partner with the Enterprise Architecture and business teams in developing architecture roadmaps and providing input into the broader technology strategy roadmap, develop guiding principles and ensure they are integrated at project level

• Partner with business product owners to understand business requirements and use cases, Produces technical and business solution architectures.

• Ensures the architectural integrity enterprise architectural alignment where applicable and possible design integrity and development process integrity of all projects Including asset usage tools and sources for information delivery data retention policies

• Design and implement effective database solutions and models to store and retrieve data.

• Design and develop frameworks for data quality, data governance and ingestion process at an enterprise level.

• Examine and identify database structural necessities by evaluating client operations, applications, and programming.

• Assess database implementation procedures to ensure they comply with internal and external regulations.

• Prepare accurate database design and architecture reports for management and executive teams.

• Oversee the migration of data from legacy systems to new solutions.

• Monitor the system performance by performing regular tests, troubleshooting and integrating new features

• Perform small POC’s for tool evaluation and finalization of technologies mapped to future architecture

• Working with client team to get data track deliverable signoffs

• Working with DBAs to implement the physical database and tables across the regions Passing on all business system knowledge and understanding gathered from client to the offshore teams.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $130,000.00 - $155,000.00 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
