As a Customer Support Specialist with Liberty Packaging Twin Cities, you will interact directly with our customers and support our sales team in fulfilling orders for a wide range of product packaging. You will be an integral part of our sales & customer service team that works collaboratively in servicing our customers. This full-time position reports directly to the Customer Service Manager and is located at Liberty Packaging’s manufacturing plant in Golden Valley, Minnesota.

IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL:

• Communicate directly with customers and sales to process, confirm, and expedite orders.
• Thoroughly maintain customer orders, including contact and pricing information, and work diligently with various departments involved in the process of taking the order through design, production and delivery (e.g., design, scheduling, routing, fulfillment, shipping)
• Build positive, professional relationships with our customers, our sales staff, and the greater team
• Diligently monitor and trouble-shoot order fulfillment from the initial point of entry through to the customer receiving the product, answering customer inquiries throughout the process and resolving any issues
• Proactively monitor production schedules and product inventories in order to effectively negotiate fulfillment details that serve the needs of the customer and work well for our business

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Associates degree required and/or Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of managing external and internal customer relations
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
• Critical thinking, solid problem solving and analytical skills as you negotiate order and shipping commitments with customers
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Office, PowerPoint, ERP and/or manufacturing software
• Professional communication skills – both written/electronic and oral
