    Job Title: Media Services Representative
    Kent ISD, Regional Education Media Center 8

    Broad Statement of Responsibilities:
    Ensures that requests for instructional and other support materials are scheduled and processed according to established procedures and standards and maintains the efficient operation of the Regional Education Media Center.

    Minimum Qualifications:
    High school graduate with a minimum (3) years’ experience in customer, technical support, or related field, preferably in an educational environment.
    Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Assists in the daily operation of the Media Center.
    • Receives and processes requests for instructional and support materials
    • Processes incoming and outgoing mail and packages
    • Maintains, orders, and replenishes copy machine and printer consumables.
    • Coordinates and maintains multiple equipment lending libraries
    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Outstanding and demonstrable customer service skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teachers, staff, and students.
    • Strong technical skills, including knowledge of audiovisual equipment, digital cameras, computers, printers, and software.
    • Must have the ability to read, comprehend, and transmit complicated and detailed instructions in order to plan and perform job duties.
    • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Broad knowledge of organizational operations and policy.
    • Ability to organize, prioritize, and work independently and cooperatively as well as schedule and produce work in a timely manner.

    Salary: Non-Union Classified salary schedule, Grade 3, $19.90-$21.84 per hour (2023-2024)
