NOVA (Network of Victim Assistance) is a comprehensive victim services organization in Bucks County. With a 48-year history, NOVA has expanded to include a continuum of prevention and direct services to prevent and address the needs of victims of abuse and other serious crimes. Counseling Intake Specialist. NOVA is hiring an Intake Specialist to join our Counseling Department of 9 counselors. The Intake Specialist provides comprehensive, coordinated support and services to victims and non-offending significant others. The Intake Specialist will also provide the initial contact for potential clients and provides case management and referrals as needed. The Intake Specialist will complete, and initial assessments as required by the wide variety of evidence-based programs the counseling department offers. The counseling department provides a continuum of trauma-informed evidence-based therapeutic modalities to victims of crime and other serious crimes including sexual assault, homicide, human trafficking, fraud, and other serious crimes. All of our counseling services are free to victims and are supported by public and private dollars.

The position will require the ability to travel throughout Bucks County and assume two evening shifts per week.

Qualifications include:

· Bachelor’s level required, Master’s Level preferred in social work, counseling, or another related field.

· At least two years of relevant direct service experience. More experience is preferred.

· Fluent in Spanish a plus.

· Highly values teamwork, but isable to work independently.

· Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

· Current criminal, child abuse, and FBI clearance are required before hiring.
