Corrections Compliance Coordinator Job at Sumter County Board of Commissioners
· Serves as policy compliance officer to ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
· Ensures that the Warden and other staff are informed of relevant policy issues and concerns; provides related policy research, interpretation, and advice.
· Reviews, revises, updates, and maintains Institute policies to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, guidelines, and standards.
· Develops Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) orders for job positions.
· Prepares handbooks, manuals, and other informational materials.
· Coordinates and communicates with state officials to ensure compliance with state policies and procedures.
· Takes photographs and creates county and offender identification cards.
· Investigates offenders for possible security threat group/gang member affiliation.
· Serves on the Sexual Assault Response Team.
· Serves on the Classification Committee Panel.
· Transports evidence to the Georgia Department of Corrections.
· Submits applications for staff member access to Georgia Department of Corrections; submits access termination notices.
· Photographs evidence, contraband, events, staff, etc.
· Performs related duties.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $31,283.20 - $55,328.00 per year

Experience:
- Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
