We are seeking a positive and professional Corporate Travel Coordinator to join the team at the Pappas Restaurants Main Office in Northwest Houston. The Travel Coordinator will oversee the day-to-day functions of the company’s travel program. The Travel Coordinator will utilize the Concur travel portal to arrange domestic and international travel that include flight, hotel, and car rental for Pappas Restaurants employees in accordance with company guidelines. This role will process company expense reports through Concur, the company’s expense management program, and oversee a portion of the company’s incentive program.

Responsibilities
  • Books travel for Pappas employees including flight, hotel, and car rental.
  • Processes invoices for payment and ensures that invoices meet the negotiated rate.
  • Coordinates pre-planned travel arrangements for leadership events as well as reservations that are made on an as-needed basis for corporate employees.
  • The Travel Coordinator will follow up with other corporate personnel who book travel to ensure timeliness of invoice payment as well as auditing compliance with corporate procedures.
  • Negotiates contracts with travel vendors as a cost-savings measure for company.
  • Creates and distributes travel reports to management.
  • Works closely with leadership in the administration of the company’s incentive program
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience booking corporate travel
  • Experience in Concur Travel preferred
  • Proficient with city, airline, hotel, and car rental codes.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability can set priorities and meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Adobe, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team
  • Ability to be “on call” evenings and weekends to assist with any emergency travel needs
