WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

We are actively seeking a Corporate Partnership Associate to be responsible for sales and business development under our Food Vertical in Sunnyvale, California. An ideal candidate is highly strategic, ambitious, detail oriented, and able to effectively influence both within the organization and with our external partners.


HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE:


Execute business development and corporate market research programs by devising collection methods and then collect targeted data to identify and evaluate potential corporate partners for participation in Plug & Play’s Innovation programs.
Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders within our partner organizations to generate adoption, renewals, and new revenue opportunities.
Devise engagement plans that consider corporate goals, internal organization structures, and map products and services to achieve these goals.
Facilitate successful on-boarding of new customers and establish key metrics of success.
Drive escalation of client issues, coordinate key resources, conduct market research and analyses of startup companies in the relevant vertical to determine their viability for participation in Plug & Play’s Acceleration Programs.
Continue analyses and communicate with selected program participants to support the program’s market exploration and investment activities.
Conduct deal flows by matching startup technologies to the interests of large corporations in the relevant industry sector.
Identify and drive account sales plans for assigned geographic territory and then meet and exceed sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, and closing sales opportunities.
Work in conjunction with the Vertical Director, Senior Sales Managers, and Ventures to close corporate membership contracts and allocate resources throughout the sales cycle.
Deliver presentations highlighting the advantages, features, and functions of Plug and Play.
Maintain an understanding of key industry trends and competitive issues and products.
Practice effective, excellent communication with management, customers, and support staff.
Provide regular reporting of pipeline and accurate forecasts through CRM.


REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:


Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
Demonstrated passion for food innovation.
Detail oriented, highly organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in public speaking.
Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Startup experience and project management experience is a plus.
