Coronado Healthcare in Pampa is looking for a PRN Occupational Therapist Assistant in Pampa, TX!
At Coronado Healthcare in Pampa, we provide compassionate rehabilitative care to get patients back to their highest level of function and independence in a welcoming, home-like environment.
Our Occupational Therapy Assistants will focus on bodily strength and movement! To help our residents recover from a variety of injuries, extended examinations may be performed.
Occupational Therapist Assistant Responsibilities
· Administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long-term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing
· Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care
· Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers
· Monitor patient response to treatment intervention
· Complete required forms and documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
· Uses professional judgment to ensure safety of self, patients and others at all times.
· Achieves quality patient care through interdisciplinary communication.
· Attends required meetings as designed by the Director of Rehab
· Effectively communicates with therapists concerning patients’ response to treatment plan.
· Maintains awareness of patient and community needs, conditions, and programs.
Occupational Therapist Assistant Requirements
- Physical Therapy Assistant license
- Is in good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards.
- Full knowledge of resident’s rights.
