Job Summary

Client is a leading New York City commercial general contractor that builds better and faster than our competition specialize in complex commercial renovation projects that must be built to exact specifications for some of the most impressive and well known organizations in our market.

New York City construction experts and are looking for a driven, socially skilled individual who can manage commercial renovation construction projects exclusively within the 5 boroughs of New York City. Provides fantastic administrative support and the latest web-based project management technology needed to succeed on every project.

We are currently looking for a Site Superintendent to join the team. This position is responsible for all site supervision and coordination, integration, and execution of assigned projects. Candidates must be dedicated individuals with strong communication, management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities:

• Proactively maintain a safe site
• Supervise and coordinate all trades
• Facilitate RFI's to the Project Manager
• Create a two-week look ahead
• Forecast trade work and provide timely notification in advance for anticipated work
• Inform Project Managers of possible Change Orders
• Interface with the Client and design professionals
• Post detailed daily reports on Procore

Requirements:

• Carpenter trade experience (e.g., Ability to lay out partitions)
• Ability to read drawings fluently and identify inconsistencies within drawings and specifications
• Procore experience preferred
• Teamwork and people skills along with the ability to represent the General Contractor at project meetings
• A current NYC DOB Construction Superintendents License is a plus

Experience:

Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in General Contracting Firm, Interior Renovation Construction, with a verifiable track record of completed projects
