Description

We are a Shell Construction Company who operates in the Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, Martin, St. Lucie, Indian River, Collier, Lee, Charlotte, Manatee, and Sarasota County areas. We are looking for a Construction Estimator with concrete, masonry, and rough carpentry experience to join our team.

Essential Functions

• The Construction Estimator will gather and evaluate project cost information and provide detailed reporting during the construction bid process.
• Review construction plans and specifications to understand the project as a whole and then prepare detailed estimates.
• Identifies deficiencies in the drawings and other sources of information and can provide pricing for deficiencies.
• Estimate time, labor, materials, and product costs to determine the overall cost.
• Prepare Proposals for Clients based on bid specs.

Qualifications

• Project Management: 1 year (Preferred)
• Construction Estimating: 1 to 3 years (Preferred)
• Basic Microsoft Excel (Required).
• High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
• An Understanding of how Plan swift operates.
• Proficiency in mathematics, statistics, and data analysis.
• Critical thinking skills with ability to problem solve and make effective decisions.
