Pay Rate: $15.00

Working Hours: 7am-3pm. Thursday, Friday and Saturdays only!
Position Summary
As a doorman, you are the first person someone entering the complex meets when they come into the
building and therefore you set the tone for ours to be one of the premier buildings in Palm Beach.
Additionally, you are the first defense against any possible intruders. You are expected to greet
residents in a politely and respectfully manner.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Answer the phone in a promptly and professional manner. Address, forward or take messages

as needed.

  • Greet and assist unit owners as needed, including but not limited to: providing travel directions

and information, delivering packages and luggage into unit, park personal vehicles, and initiate
maintenance requests.

  • Greet and announce all guests by calling the unit they are visiting and recording their name and

time in the log book.

  • Provide accurate and timely documentation and reports of departmental activities and status

including key log book, vehicle damages, statements, and conditions with require attention
and/or repair.

  • Admit service personnel such as tradesmen, housekeepers and nurses and manage their use of

the visitor parking, service elevator, and residential keys.

  • Record tracking numbers of all Federal Express, UPS, certified mail, insured mail and other

deliveries, notifying residents and logging items out of the Package Room when delivery is
completed

  • Monitor the security cameras and discourage trespassers who crisscross through the driveway

area

  • Lock and unlock all outside doors per schedule and perform routine checks on exit doors.
  • Secure apartment keys and car keys left at the front desk. Responsibly log keys in and out as

needed

  • Remain alert at the front door at all times until relieved by partner or next shift

Skills and Requirements

  • Must have High School Diploma or GED
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills
  • Must be able to read, write, and verbally communicate in English
  • Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be in physical condition and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the day.
  • Must be able to walk and/or run short and long distances as regular functions of the position
  • Must be 20 years of age or older, possess and maintain a valid state driver's license, and have a

clean driving record Must be in

  • Motor vehicle report must be free of careless motor vehicle accidents and moving violations

within the last 3 years

  • Must be able to drive a manual transmission
  • Must comply with dress code contained in employee handbook
  • Must be able to function for extended periods of time in all environmental conditions
  • Must have knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word

processing, managing files and records, and basic computer skills.
