Computer System Analyst
Our client is looking for a Computer Systems Analyst, onsite in Houston, TX. Needs to be able to understand business concepts, translate to IT requirements and ensure the business customer gets what they are needing.
What will you be doing in this role:
- Work with project leads and other stakeholders to determine how to support the organization with IT Systems
- Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to implement and improve computer systems
- Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
- Serves as Tier III support managing ticketing system
- Handles routine maintenance on software and hardware including patches and system updates
What experience do you need to have to succeed
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Information Technology or other technical degree
- Strong interpersonal skills needed to coordinate with multiple project teams along with multiple on-site customers
- Must be capable of working independently with minimal oversight
- Demonstrates knowledge of common programming languages such as SQL, C++, Java, XML, and more
- Strong Microsoft Office background
