Vision Ag LLC is seeking a dedicated & self-motivated Custom Applicator. Our Custom Applicator position would focus on the application of multiple crop inputs that include: spreading crop nutrients, spraying crop protection products, mixing chemicals and hauling chemicals to the appropriate fields. This Custom Applicator will be focused on working with long-term relationships with key growers in the area. You will be part of an agronomy team that strives every day to provide excellent Customer Service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to Read & Follow the different chemical label information printed from the Manufacture
• Ability to operate self-propelled equipment used for applying chemicals, liquid & dry fertilizer
• Good communication skills with customers, sales people, co-workers & location managers
• Normal shop & equipment Maintenance work throughout the year
• Required to follow all company policies that include safety, regulatory and compliance

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Have CDL or ability to obtain one quickly
• Must be able to lift 75 pounds, occasionally closer to 100 pounds.
• Pass Pre-employment drug screen
• Approved MVR background per insurance

EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:

• Applicator Training & schooling
• Ag Retail Experience/Internships
• Ag Background or farming experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Have Custom Applicators License
• Previous experience Handling & Applying Chemicals/Fertilizers
• Previous experience Operating Ag. Equipment
• Ability to work flexible hours

License Required:

• Valid Drivers License
• CDL Class A
• All other necessary License's required for the applicators position
