Commercial Log Truck Driver Summary:
Clendenin Lumber Company, a subsidiary of Baillie Lumber Co., has an immediate opening for an experienced commercial truck driver based out of our operation in Donalds, SC. This is an excellent opportunity to join a world class lumber company.
Commercial Log Truck Driver Pay & Benefits:
- First Shift
- Full Time Hours

Commercial Log Truck Driver Qualifications:
- Must possess a clean CDL A
- Must have a valid DOT medical card
- Prefer a candidate who has 5 years experience driving tractor trailers, but MUST have a minimum of at least 3 years
Commercial Log Truck Driver Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibility will be driving a tractor trailer to transfer logs from log landings or log yards to company facilities.
- Primarily day trips in the areas of upstate South Carolina and Eastern Georgia
- Drive truck in a safe and professional manner.
- Supervise loading of trucks of the various commodities.
- Securing the loads for travel over a variety of road types.
- Communicate with dispatchers and other employees to coordinate the movement and pickup of various products.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Keep truck clean and neat at all times.
- Fill out log books properly and submit to dispatcher in a timely manner.
- Work in all weather conditions.
- Get along well with others, work in a team environment.
