Job Summary:

We are a family owned and operated coffee roasting company ready to grow with someone who is interested in learning the coffee business. We specialize in specialty coffee that is carefully sourced and small batch roasted daily. It is our passion to create extraordinary coffee.

Manage, plan and execute tasks as a team or as an individual to fulfill daily coffee roasting needs, ensuring consistency and accuracy of the product. Conduct routine cleaning of equipment, maintenance and calibration of roaster, and managing shipping and receiving of products as needed

Essential Functions:

• Read and follow work orders to determine quantities and type of coffee to be roasted daily
• Weigh green product and prepare for roasting
• Maintain the roasting and grinding equipment and areas clean and organized
• Perform daily maintenance to roaster equipment
• Record production data, status of orders, inventory and product details
• Create daily activity logs as required
• Fulfill and follow coffee roasting production requirements
• Maintain continuity of various roasting recipe profiles
• Plan and forecast upcoming orders and follow roast requirements
• Participate in production process with the staff
• Other tasks related to the roasting and grinding of coffee

If you are the right person for the job, we will invest in traing you on all aspects of coffee production skills.

Schedule:

• Currently 40 hours per week
• Monday-Friday. Potential to grow into overtime work.

• 1-2 years coffee roasting experience or desire to learn Coffee roasting

• Solid Work Ethic
• Ability to Lift 75 lbs. and Stand for Long Periods of Time
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Must be able to push and pull up to 150 pounds
• Must be able to reach in all directions for support
• Enjoy working outside in all kinds of weather
• Basic knowledge of tracking inventory
