Safely operates a 2021 Haas 3-Axis CNC programmable mill producing filter molds and other machined parts for the Pool and Spa Division. Will run equipment as efficiently as possible to maximize throughput while maintaining high levels of accuracy. Will perform operator maintenance and is expected to effect minor repairs to the mill.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Loads, Unloads, Runs and Adjusts CNC Mill and its tools. Operates all ancillary equipment in the work cell to produce parts of high precision
• Operator will be very knowledgeable of Solidworks, Mastercam, G-Code
• Maintains stock inventory and uses Company Requisition Process to maintain proper stocking levels
• Identifies and communicates recommendations to improve Operations
• Performs Preventative Maintenance on the Mill as per Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to include coolant and other liquids
• Communicates clearly with other Operators and Supervisors
• Cleans and maintains equipment and work area
• Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use
• Completes daily production reports, as necessary
• Perform back-up of others as required
• Able to read a tape measure, caliper, refractometer and digital scale
• Promote teamwork and build a culture of continuous improvement

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic programming aptitude to fine tune pleater output
• Driver’s License
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds required.
• Able to work overtime as needed.
• Able to perform all duties and responsibilities listed safely and wear required Personal
• Protective Equipment.
• Able to report every workday, on time and for the entire shift.
• Must have positive attitude and strong work ethic
• PAY RATE BASED ON EXPERIENCE

SCHEDULE

• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. The warehouse area is not climate controlled and can get hot during summer and cold during winter months. Work involves lifting of materials and product up to 50 pounds. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protection, back support belt and gloves. Must be able to hear, speak, reach, bend, twist, squat, push and pull.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
