The Pet Dermatology Center of Philadelphia is seeking a full time Customer Service Representative to join our growing team in Old City.
As the first and last point of contact for clients, the Customer Service Representative is a vital part of the team’s success and the face of our practice. You will work closely with our boarded dermatologist, our dedicated clinical staff, and be a capable ambassador for the organization to the public, our clients, and the professional community.
The role:
- Answering non-medical phone calls and questions
- Scheduling of all appointments and procedures.
- Monitoring emails and elevating questions to appropriate levels
- Handling financial transactions in person and over the phone
- Maintaining and restocking waiting room and beverage fridge
- Cleaning front end of hospital & kitchen
- Communications between clinics in surrounding areas
- Elevating client concerns to Manager

Requirements:
- A passion for and commitment to animals and their welfare
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service role. Veterinary experience preferred, but general service industry, hospitality, administrative and receptionist experience is welcome as well
- Comfort around all types of animals required - primarily dogs and cats
- The ability to work well in an up-tempo team environment with a strong attention to detail and willingness to continue to learn
- The ability to work cohesively with the dermatologist and vet techs to ensure the smooth flow of appointments and the day in general
- Highly evolved organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic and problem-solving skills
