Job Summary:

As a Client Advisor, you'll be responsible for the growth, profitability, and client satisfaction of our most complex Risk Management accounts. By optimizing Woodruff Sawyer's capabilities and resources, you'll align client strategies across all segments of our commercial relationships.


What You'll Do:


  • Build and maintain relationships with the primary insurance contact while concurrently developing relationships with C-Suite and other influential client contacts and decision makers.
  • Serve as a consultant and advisor to clients by developing an expert level understanding of their business and providing innovative solutions to manage risk.
  • Possess expertise on Woodruff Sawyer capabilities and services with a focus on knowing when and how to utilize, as well as the capability to differentiate Woodruff Sawyer.
  • Create and execute an annual service plan inclusive of the following:
  • Coordinate with all product specialists to develop a renewal strategy inclusive of identifying uninsured exposures and new products.
  • Set key deliverable dates and create a regular "check in" schedule with internal colleagues to assure that service plan delivery remains on track.
  • Conduct an annual stewardship meeting and report out on actual performance vs. plan inclusive of recommendations for any course corrections.
  • As the primary point of the contact for the client, the Client Advisor is responsible to assure that Woodruff Sawyer consistently meets or exceeds the expectations of the client in the following areas:
  • Engage the appropriate Woodruff Sawyer colleague to assure that general complaints and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Maintain an active involvement in claims to assure that they are resolved in a timely manner and meets the expectations of the client through coordination with the Woodruff Sawyer claims team.
  • Build and leverage carrier relationships
  • Proactively communicates and sets expectations for the client.
  • Manage commissions and fees in a manner that aligns with the complexity and service needs of each client.
  • Contribute to a culture of learning in the form of sharing technical knowledge and mentoring colleagues.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of success in working with complex Risk Management accounts inclusive of broad insurance industry knowledge.
  • Expert level analytical, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation skills, and use of an "influence" style of leadership when engaging with Woodruff Sawyer and carrier partner colleagues at all levels.
  • Expert level understanding of Woodruff Sawyer resources, services, and capabilities.

More About Us:

Compensation: Anticipated starting salary between $170,000.00 – $250,000.00. Salary offered will be dependent upon geography, experience, and expertise of the candidate.

This position is eligible to participate in an incentive program to earn additional compensation with a target equivalent to 12% of salary annually, based on individual and Company performance.
