SEAJ Corporation, an independently owned and operated Filta franchise which has the exclusive ownership of the panhandle territory is seeking route Service Technicians to join our Team for the Panama City Beach area. Filta Environmental Kitchen Solutions is the World Leader in cooking oil and fryer management, we provide a mobile on-site service for the micro-filtration of cooking oil, including the vacuum-based deep cleaning of fryers for Kitchens around the World. You will follow a scheduled route to a variety of commercial kitchens such as restaurants, hospitals, corporate dining, universities, stadiums, and the like, to micro-filter kitchen cooking oil, clean inside fryers’ wells, haul waste vegetable oil and provide other kitchen services as needed.

Starting pay is $16.00 - $19.00/hr based on experience

Responsibilities:

• The Technician position is the face of the business with our customers’ base, People skills, listening, communication and customer service skills are key ingredients of the role.
• The candidate must strongly believe in safety and has the commitment and abilities to follow all the established safety guidelines and policies
• Competence in time management and time/shift flexibility to accommodate the needs of the customer is also important to support the current and future growth of the business
• Keep equipment and commercial van clean, stocked, well-organized and order supplies as needed
• Perform required daily and weekly maintenance as well as routine preventative maintenance
• Follow the provided schedule each week and be timely for customers scheduled appointments
• Maintain service records for each customer and report any critical issues to management
• Clean up spills immediately and keep a clean work area
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while wearing required PPE gear
• Assure compliance with franchise standards/policies
• Conduct customer demonstrations of Filta service
• Report any changes in management, staff, fryer oil or frying habits back to the office

Qualifications:

• Pass drug and background screening
• Previous experience in kitchen operations, machinery or other related fields a plus
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills a plus
• A valid driver's license required
• 5 years driving history (with good driving history required)
• Reliable transportation to get to van pickup site
• Ability to handle physical workload, including night work, hot working conditions and ability to lift up to 75 lbs
• The ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to establish credibility and communicate effectively
• Ability to learn and to stay up to date on the latest service procedures
