Under the direct supervision of the Executive Director, the Chief Financial Officer is responsible for all day to day duties of the finance office. The FBHA is a governmental agency of the Three Affiliated Tribes on the Fort Berthold Indian Reservation. The housing authority is funded by the Department of Housing and Urban Development Office of Native American Programs and USDA. It manages in excess of 600 low rent and mutual help units and several alternative housing programs with the potential budget of 10 million dollars annually. The housing authority is an Equal Opportunity Employer that exercises the requirement under the federal and local law to utilize Indian Preference in hiring. CFO will assist the ED in the financial administration of the housing authority, which includes payroll, and accounts payable/receivable. Will be fully responsible for accurate and thorough bookkeeping. Will be able to create transparency through appropriate finance policy and internal/external controls. Will be responsible for review and approval of preparation and finalization of monthly and annual financial reporting. Will oversee budgeting, financial forecasting, and cash flow for administration, existing programs and proposed new projects. Will manage staff of (4) Accounts payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll, and Finance Assistant. the CFO will coordinate all audit activities. CFO must be accountable and reliable and willing to travel if necessary.

Pay: From $66,560.00 per year
