Snapshot of Daily Duties

· Perform routine patient check-in procedures, including patient work-ups and new patient history.

· Administer intramuscular and subcutaneous medications as directed by physician.

· Perform phlebotomy for lab work and complete required forms.

· Approve prescriptions and communicate with pharmacies at direction of physicians.

· Assist in maintaining general medical records.

· Schedule patient appointments and other procedures in the computer as needed.

· Schedule outpatient x-rays and tests as needed.

The Must Haves

• Medical Assistant certification or the equivalent
• Previous M.D. office experience or clinical work.
• Maintain current licensure and BLS certification.
• Membership in the State and National SGNA recommended.
• Maturity, empathy, and patience.
• Be special – Not everyone can do what we do.
• The ideal candidate must have the ability to adjust to a fast-paced environment and follow proper protocols.

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
